Micklehurst Cricket Club is based in the relatively small mill town of Mossley in Lancashire near the border of Yorkshire and Cheshire.
We play our home matches at Richmond Hill, in the picturesque surroundings of Saddleworth to the north east & Stalybridge to the south .
The club are currently members of the Drakes Huddersfield Cricket League Championrship. The 2010 season will be our 6th playing cricket in Yorkshire having been long time members of the Saddleworth and District Cricket League.
Unfortunately both 1st and 2nd XI's have been relegated for this season having played in their respective Premierships for the previous 4 years.
Micklehurst are dedicated to junior cricket and as well as fielding two senior teams we manage 3 junior sides. These range from under 17's to under 13's. Our fully qualified ECB coaches ensure that Micklehurst Cricket Club is the perfect place where you can learn and enjoy cricket at all levels.
After a tough 2009, we have a new young Club Committee who are dedicated to getting the club back into the top flight once again.
